David Wallace

Minister

My name is David Wallace, and I'm excited to be joining the family of God at Empire church of Christ. I was called to preach at the tender age of ten, and I have been serving the Lord by teaching in Sunday schools, youth groups, Bible camps, and pulpits since I was 13 years of age.

Following 12 years of active duty service in the United States Air Force, I transitioned from a position as part-time Youth and Family Minister for the Magnolia Center church of Christ in Riverside, California, to begin my first full-time position as Minister for the church of Christ in Paradise, California. Many years have transpired since then and I have been blessed to serve the Lord both in and out of, “the ministry”.

My greatest accomplishment has been being married for 38 years to my beautiful wife, Anita. She has been my closest companion, my greatest cheerleader, and the sharpener of iron for more than 40 years! We have grown together through the seasons of marriage in 5 states and 2 countries and we are blessed to have a family of three handsome sons, two amazing grandsons, and a beautiful, godly daughter-in-love.

As Anita and I enter into service at the Lord’s church here in Empire, we would like to express our gratitude for the wonderful welcome and the hospitality which the congregation has shown to us. This is truly a friendly, generous, and loving congregation and I am looking forward to seeing what the Lord has in store for all of us!
